This is the first shot in my Butterfly collection. The picture was taken at the London zoo.

Sorrow

Another picture from Selma’s photo shoot. Also my first attempt at doing something different from the classic portrait. I’m rather proud of this one.

Death Valley

A picture from my trip down the west coast. Incredible place, death valley.

My very first macro

This picture is by far the most visited on my flickr profile, it also is my first test of my Raynox macro lenses.

I enjoyed the popularity immensely but somehow it feels undeserved as there’s no creativity involved in this photo. That’s what I find hardest as an amateur photographer, shifting from technically good pictures of the commonly-perceived beauty to quirky and imaginative pictures.

My very first macro

On a cold spring morning.

Fringed tulip in Regent's Park

An almost random shot I fell in love with. Taken as I was leisurly strolling around the market.

The building is not exactly remarkable but when the rosy lights are switched on at night it is quite an impressive sight. (Portland place - London)

Royal Institute of British Architects

First picture from our road trip down the west coast of the US. This is Crater Lake in Oregon. Absolutely stunning place, also one of the coldest on the planet!

Beachy Head as seen from the South Downs Way. Stunning place on an oddly beautiful day in England

Lighthouse from the cliff

Portrait photography is something I’m relatively new to. This is the first shot from my first-ever photoshoot with a model.
